Used to secure fabric to plastic mesh to create a wind / frost barrier for my sweet pea plants which were planted out early. Found the clips a bit fiddly at first until I got the knack of firmly squeezing either side of the release lever, so it fully engages. It is not how the clips are designed to be used, but they have coped with some windy days without loosening.
