The Greenworks Lawnmower 40V is a compact, cordless mower that runs on a powerful Lithium-Ion Battery. This a great alternative, as you don’t have to deal with the noise or fumes of petrol.

Ideal for a small garden, this mower has a 35cm cutting width and is extremely manoeuvrable, very easy to move around arches or other garden décor. With a 5-position height adjustments, ranging from 2-7cm, you can customise the length of your lawn.

A 40 litre collection bag will make easy work of your lawn, but removed it will turn your mower into a handy mulcher, adding nutrients to your lawn when it needs it. The powerful 2Ah Lithium-Ion battery charges fast and allows you to go where standard electric lawnmowers won’t, without the fuss of a petrol engine.

The same Greenworks battery fits all tools in the same voltage range. For extra convenience, with two batteries you can do all the work using one while charging a second. Batteries come in 2Ah or 4Ah versions - the 4Ah versions last twice as long on a single charge (but are larger and heavier).

Purchased the mower on behalf of the local bowling club to keep the banks surrounding the green tidy. Small and light, the mower can access tight spaces and cuts very well on uneven areas.

This mower is a doddle to use and gives a great cut. Small lawn is mown quickly and easily. BUT...... removing the battery afterwards is a complete nightmare and for anyone with arthritic hands it would prove practically impossible.

Got this to to replace a corded electric mower that I used round the fiddly bits of a large garden and to have a quick mow of the faster growing areas without the faff of getting out the large heavy petrol mower. First impression was that the mower is a bit of a toy and rather flimsy ..... however I have used it a few times now and seems pretty robust. It copes with the uneven lumpy lawn and long grass and the odd bit of wood and stone. The battery lasts well and is easy to insert/remove, charging time is significantly longer than the 30 mins advertised, though as it came with 2 batteries this isn't an issue. Mowing cordless is so easy and I have mowed the whole large lawn a couple of times though not all in one go. I only use it on mulch setting which works fine.
